64th Biennial Grand Conclave
Standing Alone at the Top...
Again

The
64th Biennial Grand Conclave capped off a decade of dominance for
the Theta-Zeta Chapter of Kappa Sigma. At Conclave, the Chapter
was awarded its 10th consecutive Founder's Award of Chapter Excellence
and 10th consecutive George Miles Arnold Cup for Ritual Proficiency.
No other Chapter in Kappa Sigma has ever won the G.M.A. Cup for
more than two years in a row. Theta-Zeta has now proudly retired
its third cup, and is starting on their fourth.
The Grand Conclave
Banquest, also know as Kappa Sigma's Finest Hour, was a celebration
for all Brothers in attendance. Twenty-four undergraduate and twenty-seven
alumni brothers from Theta-Zeta were in attendance at the Grand
Conclave, held in Tampa, Florida. Along with the F.A.C.E. and the
G.M.A., Theta-Zeta won the Founder's Circle Award, given to the
top-five chapters in all of Kappa Sigma, and the Travel Cup for
the Chapter bringing the most brothers the furthest distance. District
44 (Now District 42) also won District of the Year and the District
Travel Cup. Brother Leroy Peer, AA of Theta-Zeta, was awarded with
the Alumnus Advisor of the Year Award.
Theta-Zeta also
won the Model Iniation competition for the third consecutive Conclave,
winning the right to perform the ritual in front of 700 Brothers
from all across North America, the largest ever gathering for such
a night. The Ritual Team was comprised of Brett Trembly, Eric Smith,
Bryan Frapp, Nic Snowberger, Eric Garcia, Josh Ingram, Justin Ward,
and Thomas Encinias. In all, Theta-Zeta won a total of 42 awards
at Conclave.
